      Anna Demidchik is the Founding Attorney of Demidchik Law Firm, where she draws on over a decade of experience in criminal defense and immigration law. Known for her tenacious advocacy and strategic insight, Anna has represented clients in high-stakes criminal matters—from serious felonies to complex investigations—as well as in all stages of immigration proceedings, including asylum, removal defense, and federal litigation.       Shuyang Xie earned her Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School and holds a Master of Public Administration from Cornell University.     • Robert S. Hazzard, Esq.
      Robert S. Hazzard graduated cum laude from St. John’s University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Touro Law School and began his career as an associate at a General Practice law firm, where he practiced both criminal and civil litigation from 2000 to 2008, successfully trying numerous cases.

      From 2008 to 2013, Mr. Hazzard served as General Counsel for an insurance company, managing corporate affairs, litigation, and regulatory compliance. Between 2013 and 2018, he was the Legal Director of an international developer, overseeing all corporate and contractual matters, multi-million-dollar project financing, equity investments, and external managed advisory services.
    • Michael Brown Esq.
      Michael Brown has been an attorney in the Orlando area for over eight years and serves as Of Counsel at Demidchik Law Firm. He previously worked as a prosecutor for more than five years with the State Attorney’s Office in Orange and Osceola County, where he handled misdemeanor cases, juvenile cases, felony cases, felony probation violations, and tried over 20 jury trials.

      After leaving the State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Brown became a civil litigator specializing in foreclosure, breach of contract, and insurance defense. He has practiced in courts throughout Florida and is licensed to practice in all state courts as well as three Florida federal courts. He is a member of the Florida Bar.
    • Yuan (Bill) Li Esq.
      Yuan Li is licensed to practice in California and admitted to the bar of the U.S. Federal Court in the Central District of California. He is also licensed to practice law in China, with several years of experience there.

      Mr. Li is well-versed in both Chinese and U.S. law, with extensive litigation experience. His background includes criminal and civil litigation, as well as substantial research in corporate governance, China’s Anti-Unfair Competition Law, intellectual property law, government supervision, and other business-related legal areas.

      Since beginning his legal career in 2010, he has worked in the Shanghai office of Dentons Law Firm and within major government economic oversight departments in Shanghai. He is now dedicated to providing exclusive litigation and legal services to the Chinese community in California.
    • Michael Walsh Esq. Super Lawyers
      Michael Walsh brings over 40 years of litigation experience to the firm, specializing in criminal defense litigation at both the trial and appellate levels in State and Federal Courts. He has been repeatedly selected as a Super Lawyer in the Criminal Defense field.

      Howard Cohn brings over 45 years of legal and trial experience to the firm. A former Judge Pro Tem for the Alameda County Municipal Court, Howard has presided over hundreds of criminal and civil trials. He has also served as trustee and general counsel for one of the largest Real Estate Investment Trusts in the U.S., managing over six million square feet of commercial property.

      For the past 25 years, Howard has been the general counsel of a leading software company in the real estate mortgage industry. His broad legal experience includes Family Law, Wills and Trusts, Business Disputes and Litigation, and Criminal Law.

      A former collegiate boxer and baseball player, Howard has excelled in both athletic and legal arenas. He has three grown children and, outside of work, enjoys poker and golf.

    • Chen (Leo) Zhao Esq.
      Chen Zhao is an accomplished attorney licensed in New York, with a proven track record in handling complex federal immigration matters, criminal defense, and family law. 

      He holds a Master of Laws from the University of Minnesota Law School and has extensive hands-on experience at Demidchik Law Firm.     • Wenxuan Zhou, Esq. 
      Wenxuan Zhou earned her LL.M. Degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the United States (New York) and is also licensed to practice law in China. Ms. Zhou’s practice focuses primarily on U.S. immigration law.     • Zehao (Wynn) Wang, Esq. 
      Zehao Wang earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Michigan State University College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from the University of Washington.  

      Mr. Wang is licensed to practice law in the State of California, the State of Michigan, and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. His practice focuses on civil litigation as well as intellectual property laws.     • Mariya Furman, Esq. 
      Mariya Furman, Esq. is an experienced attorney with more than 15 years of legal experience and a leadership role within the firm. She is licensed to practice in California and admitted to multiple federal courts. Her legal background includes family law and immigration, with experience handling complex and sensitive matters.   

      Ms. Furman earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 2009 after completing her undergraduate studies. Following graduation, she began her legal career in criminal defense before co-founding Furman & Zavatsky in Encino, California, where she focused her practice exclusively on family law. Currently, Ms. Furman is focused primarily on managing the firm and overseeing attorneys across multiple practice areas, while continuing to provide legal insight and strategic guidance.

    • Matthew Hickey, Esq. 
      Matthew Hickey is an experienced trial attorney with over 20 years of practice in criminal defense and traffic law. He has represented clients in matters ranging from traffic violations and DUI cases to serious felony charges, including reckless homicide and murder. 

      A lifelong Chicago-area native, Mr. Hickey earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Dayton and his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. He began his legal career as a prosecutor with the City of Chicago, gaining firsthand insight into the Cook County criminal justice system. 

      Drawing on that experience, Mr. Hickey now defends clients throughout Cook County and Northeastern Illinois.       Anna Demidchik is the founding attorney of Demidchik Law Firm. She focuses primarily on immigration law. Anna received her J.D. from Hofstra Law (Maurice A. Dean School of Law). She is admitted to practice law in New York, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Anna is a member of American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
    • D. Garth Sullivan
      D. Garth Sullivan graduated from Rutgers Law School in 1995. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of CT, NY, NJ & CA as well as the 2nd and 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, NJ Federal District Court and CT Federal District Court. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and his practice focuses primarily on immigration law and civil litigation.
    • Jason Molesso
      Jason C. Molesso is licensed to practice Law in the States of New York and Texas, as well as several Federal Courts, including the Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C. Jason has exclusively represented injured people in Medical Malpractice, Medical Device and Pharmaceutical, Vaccine, Construction, Premises Liability, Automobile, and General Negligence cases throughout the United States. In almost 20 years of practice, Jason has deposed over 1000 medical and scientific witnesses, has taken more than 40 trial verdicts, and has argued in excess of 20 appeals; all while helping injured people receive the Justice they deserve.

      Ms. Susan Qin, Esq. practices immigration law. She has particular experience with immigration laws. Her main focus is helping the immigrants fight for their rights. She has been helping individuals resolve cases involving adjustment of statues, cancellation of removals, waivers, Immigration Bailout, as well as other cases. Ms. Qin is bilingual, she is fluent in English and Chinese.
    • Steven Slavitt (Senior Attorney)
      Steven Slavitt graduated from the UC Berkeley School of Law in 1983. He also holds a Master of Psychology Degree from the University of California (USC). Since that time, Mr. Slavitt has been a dedicated civil litigator for a large Los Angeles law firm. Mr. Slavitt also served as a prosecutor for the District Attorney's Office in Los Angeles for 28 years where he was quickly promoted to Grade IV, the highest level as a trial attorney.
    • Shuyang Xie
      Shuyang Xie graduated from Tulane Law School. She earned a Master of Public Administration from Cornell University. Currently, she is admitted to practice in the state court of New Jersey. Her practice focuses primarily on civil and immigration matters. Her civil work experience includes handling federal wage-and-hour litigations, real estate and divorce cases, and her immigration work includes appearing in immigration court on behalf of asylum applicants.
    • Yangmei Li
      Yangmei Li earned her Juris Doctorate degree and her Master of Laws degree, with a specialization in Intellectual Property Law, from DePaul University College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois. She is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association. Ms. Li is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

    • Junzhe (Peter) Chi
      Mr. Chi graduated from Peking University Law School, and also earned LLM degree from University of Missouri School of Law. Mr. Chi is a licensed Chinese attorney; he has already passed New York bar exam. Mr. Chi worked at the China Headquarters of Samsung as an in-house legal counsel, and his practice areas included contract review/drafting, compliance advice, dispute settlement, commercial negotiation assistance, and acting in litigation/arbitration. He is currently a partner of Beijing Wilco Law Firm in China.
    • Yunchao (Paul) Song
      Yunchao (Paul) Song is licensed to practice law in California and New York. He is admitted to the US Federal Court in the Eastern District, Northern District, and Central District of California. He graduated from University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, where he received Master of Laws and Juris Doctor degrees. Mr. Song is currently practicing Immigration Law, family law, and criminal law. He has extensive experience in these fields.       Jack Han is an established attorney; he's been serving the Chinese community in the past two decades prior to joining our firm. He worked in China as an engineer after graduating from Tianjin University with B.S. until he emigrated to the U.S. in the mid-90s. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from Touro Law School. His practice areas are mostly Federal, including immigration and intellectual property.

    • Israel P. Whitbeck Esq.
      A Las Vegas native, Israel received his B.A. in Political Science from Boston University and his JD from the University of La Verne. Israel has been a member of the State Bar of California and State Bar of Nevada since 2006 and 2012 respectively and admitted to practice in all state courts of California and Nevada as well as the U.S. District Court, District of Nevada. Israel has extensive experience in the areas of personal injury and criminal law. Israel actually spent time working for the insurance companies defending auto accident cases so he knows the tricks used by the insurance company and uses that experience to help his clients achieve the best results!
    • Kevin E. Morgan Esq.
      Kevin E. Morgan graduated with a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1995 and a J.D. from Touro Law Center in 2001. After graduation, he joined the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County and began representing indigent clients charged in County and District Court. While there, he began his litigation career with successful jury verdicts in a wide range of cases, including assault, larceny, driving while intoxicated, unlicensed driving, sex abuse, and drug possession. From there he joined New York County Defender Services (NYCDS) and continued for the next thirteen years litigating criminal cases involving violent felonies (such as arson, robbery, burglary, sex crimes and assault) and nonviolent felonies (such as forgery, larceny, and drug possession/sales). At NYCDS he worked collaboratively with experts, investigators, and social workers to present the best defense possible for his clients. He also cross-examined numerous experts, detectives, police officers and civilian witnesses while defending his clients on trial. He has twenty years litigation experience, successfully representing clients facing the most serious allegations down to minor infractions. He also handles civil cases involving complex litigation, contractual disputes, and business disputes. He is admitted to practice in New York, Florida and the U.S. District Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
    • Daniel Kolacia
      Daniel Kolacia graduated with a B.A. from Iowa State University and a J.D. from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. After graduation, he worked as a Deputy District Attorney with the Riverside District Attorney’s Office. While there, he worked in such specialized divisions and courts as in the Drug Court, Mental Health Court, General Felonies, Career Criminal Unit, and the Vehicular Homicide Unit. While at the Riverside District Attorney’s Office he tried cases to the jury from misdemeanor Driving Under the Influence, Domestic Violence, Burglaries, Robberies to Murders. After the Riverside District Attorney’s Office, he was appointed as the Boone County Attorney in Boone, Iowa. There he was the elected twice as County Attorney representing the County in civil cases and handling criminal matters. He handled a variety of criminal cases from misdemeanors to murders. He argued cases in front of juries and in the Iowa Court of Appeals.
      He is licensed to practice in California and Iowa and is admitted to the bar of the US Federal Court in the Central District of California.
    • Demetrios N. Dalmares (of counsel)
      Demetrios N. Dalmares has been practicing law for over 28 years and brings a strong background in Domestic Relations litigation to the firm.  He concentrates primarily in matters pertaining to high net worth clientele, in their domestic relations and paternity matters. This includes Divorce, Paternity, Custody, Grandparental Visitation, Premarital and Postnuptial agreements, and Adoption or Guardianship.  Demetrios is well rounded and has tried a number of highly contested custody, financial litigation matters, and cases involving dissipation of marital assets in Cook, Will, DuPage and the surrounding counties. His practice includes representation of both men and women, as he believes that the law is intended to represent everyone equally.  He has also served as a Guardian Ad Litem on behalf of minor children. 
      He is licensed in the State of Illinois and has been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.  He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, America Bar Association, and Hellenic Bar Association. 
      Demetrios Dalmares obtained his J.D. in 1992 from IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law. He graduated from De Paul University in 1988 with a double Major in Business Finance and Management. 
      Demetrios is a lifelong resident of the Chicago area. When he is not practicing Family Law, he can be seen spending time with his family, biking, and playing soccer. He is also fluent in Greek. 
    • Tamir Tommalieh (of counsel)
      Tamir Tommalieh obtained his Bachelor's Degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Juris Doctor at Valparaiso University. He is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois and has tried a number of cases in Cook, Will, Kankakee and the surrounding counties. Mr. Tommalieh primarily practices in Family Law which allows him to concentrate on issues and concerns within the specified field. He uses his extensive knowledge and genuine concern for each client's best interests to achieve optimal results.

      Howard brings to the Firm over 40 years of legal and trial experience. A former Judge Pro Tem of the Alameda County Municipal Court, Howard has presided over hundreds of criminal and civil trials.       For the past 20 years, Howard has been the general counsel of a Software company who is a leader in producing software for the real estate mortgage industry. A collegiate boxer and baseball player, Howard has excelled in athletic as well as legal competition. Howard is married with three grown children.
