Anna Demidchik

Anna Demidchik is the founding attorney of Demidchik Law Firm. She specializes in immigration law.

Anna received her J.D. from Hofstra Law (Maurice A. Dean School of Law). She is admitted to the New York State Bar and is a member of American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and New York City Bar Association.

Besides English, Anna speaks Mandarin and Russian.


D. Garth Sullivan

D. Garth Sullivan graduated from Rutgers Law School in 1995. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of CT, NY, NJ & CA as well as the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals, NJ Federal District Court and CT Federal District Court. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and his practice focuses primarily on immigration law and civil litigation.

His immigration work includes appearing in immigration court on behalf of asylum applicants, both affirmative and defensive, removal defense, appeals to the BIA and Circuit Courts and preparing waiver applications. He is firmly committed to the belief that everyone deserves quality legal representation and that immigrants are an important and often underappreciated segment of our society.

When he is not working, he enjoys biking, yoga and spending time with his family.


Stephen Mullkoff

Stephen Mullkoff, Esq. is a senior trial attorney and Of Counsel at Demidchik Law Firm. He represents clients facing criminal & white collar charges in State and Federal Court.

As a criminal defense attorney, Mr. Mullkoff has handled many highly contested criminal cases in New York and Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of the Business School at the University of Washington (1996) where he was a member of the Dean’s List and Temple University Beasley School of Law (2002) where he was awarded the Barrister’s Award and Outstanding Oral Advocate Award for demonstrated excellence in Trial Advocacy (2002).


Tudor Neagu

Tudor Neagu practices immigration law throughout the United States, but primarily in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Tudor has helped clients from all over the world to secure green cards through asylum for the past five years.

In law school, Tudor participated in an asylum clinic, and then he worked with DHS ICE where he assisted in the process of removing foreign nationals from the United States. By participating in the immigration system on both sides, he is intimately familiar with the asylum process and immigration courts, and is therefore able to guide his clients through every step of their immigration case.

Tudor graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. He earned a JD from Villanova Law School in 2010.


Stephanie McClure

Ms. McClure is a highly experienced criminal attorney and former prosecutor.   She has worked in the legal business for nearly 20 years and received the first of her multiple bar admissions in 2006. She is licensed in New York, New Jersey, and California and has received permission from courts all over the United States to appear on our client’s cases because of her experience.
Ms. McClure spent nearly a decade as an attorney for the government at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, where she handled some of the State’s most serious and complicated cases as the lead attorney.  Her successful verdicts and sentences have made national news media, including stories feature on Fox and ABC news channels.
Ms. McClure joined Demidchik in 2016.  She practices primarily in the areas of Criminal Law and Victim’s Rights, including the pursuit of compensation and Visas on behalf of crime victims.
Ms. McClure truly takes pride in her work.  She believes that every client is entitled to compassion and communication and works tirelessly to ensure that her clients receive the best possible outcome. She is a graduate of Fordham and Seton Hall Universities where she obtained her doctorate and undergraduate degrees.

Carlos Lorenzo

Carlos Lorenzo has been practicing law for over 6 years. He is a graduate from the University of Puerto Rico and from EMH Law School in Puerto Rico. He also completed his LLM (Master in Law) in Maritime Law and International Trade from the University of Southampton, England.

Carlos has worked as advisor and special aide to the Director of the Puerto Rico Trade Company, state agency in charge of all export related matters for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. During this period Mr. Lorenzo was in charge of handling aspect of the Puerto Rico Free Trade Zone as well as developed the commonwealth’s export plan.

Later on, Carlos worked as legal counselor and advisor to the Puerto Rico Police Academy and Police Department. He provided legal advice to the agency director as well as served acting general counsel for the agency.

He started his career in the Immigration field working, as an attorney with a non-profit organization in New York helping underprivileged families with their immigration needs. He was in charge of the filling of unlawful presence waivers as well as family immigrant visas and petitions before USCIS.

Currently Carlos focuses his practice in Immigration matters before the United States Immigration Court. He has successfully represented dozens of clients before the Immigration Court throughout the United States in Removal Defense cases, Asylum, Cancellation of Removal and Withholding of Removal. He also has represented clients before the Board of Immigration Appeals as well as several Federal Courts and has helped them with immigrant and non- immigrant matters with USCIS.

He has a real passion and drive in helping immigrants achieve their American Dream and will advocate fiercely in behalf of his clients to achieve their goals and dreams. Carlos speaks English and Spanish.


Ruisi Guo

Ruisi Guo is an associate attorney at Demidchik Law Firm. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Liberty Law School where she was a member of the Dean’s List. Having competed in multiple local and national advocacy competitions, she was awarded the Best Trial Advocacy Award of Liberty Law School because of her dedication and commitment.  Being a member of the Moot Court Board since her second year of Law School that ranked 9th in the Nation, she has gained valuable appellate experience, which was further strengthened from her clerkship at the Alabama Supreme Court.

Since graduating in 2016, she has focused her work exclusively on criminal defense matters. She has assisted in criminal cases throughout the United States. She firmly believes that everyone is equal in the eyes of the law and deserves a chance to be zealously represented and heard.

Liu Lixiang

Lixiang Liu

Graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Law, Lixiang Liu is a junior associate attorney at Demidchik Law Firm. Admitted in New York State Bar in March 2014, Lixiang Liu has been primarily practicing in immigration area.

Lixiang Liu’s international academic and legal background (4-year undergraduate law school in Shanghai, China and Chinese Bar Admission since 2012) enables him to better understand foreign clients’ immigration and other legal needs. Meanwhile, with the U.S. professional academic and practicing experience, Lixiang Liu has successfully assisted a large number of clients in various immigration applications, administrative and judicial proceedings.

Desiree Guo

Desiree Guo

Desiree GUO immigrant to Canada and graduated from University of Waterloo in Canada with a M.A. in Management Science. Desiree began working in the legal field in 2009. Since then, she has accumulated significant experience in the area of immigration cases. She started working at The Demidchik Law Firm in June of 2015 as a paralegal focusing on a variety of wrongful death, immigration and civil cases. Desiree’s strong commitment to clients springs from her own immigrant background, which gives her the ability to treat each case with efforts and passion. Her detail-oriented and professional nature is complemented by her personal touch, as Desiree is always accessible and quick in responding to clients’ needs.


Lei Yu

Lei received his Ph.D. in international policy studies and analysis from Columbia University.  Prior to joining the Demidchik Law Firm, Lei has had experiences working both as a paralegal and legal interpreter at two other law firms.  He has very extensive academic and professional experiences in both oral interpretation and written translation from Chinese to English and vice versa previously at international organizations and U.S.-based think tanks such as the United Nations Department for Disarmament Affairs, the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, the Institute of International Education and the Foreign Policy Association.  Additionally, Lei is also a certified New York State Per Diem Court Interpreter for English and Chinese.

With a sharp understanding for the specific needs of the various clientele affiliated with the Demidchik Law Firm, Lei has successfully and effectively assisted numerous clients in various immigration and criminal-related legal proceedings through the provision of timely and accurate oral interpretation and written translation for their individual cases.

When Lei is not working, he enjoys playing both the piano and the violin and performs in the orchestra.  He also enjoys reading, exercising and spending time with his family.


Songyin Bo

Songyin Bo is currently a paralegal at Demidchik Law Firm. She received her undergraduate degree from Hainan University in China and her LL.M (Master of Law) degree from Emory University School of Law. She got her Legal Professional Qualification in China in 2015, and will be licensed in New York State within the next few months.

She focuses mainly on immigration matters after graduation, and she believes that in the field of law, diligence and good communication are the keys to success.


Xingyu Liu

Xingyu Liu is a junior associate at Demidchik Law Firm. Graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from University of Maryland in 2016, Xingyu Liu mainly assisted attorneys with civil and immigration cases. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Law from China Foreign Affairs University in 2013.
