Kevin E. Morgan Esq.
Kevin E. Morgan graduated with a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1995 and a J.D. from Touro Law Center in 2001. After graduation, he joined the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County and began representing indigent clients charged in County and District Court. While there, he began his litigation career with successful jury verdicts in a wide range of cases, including assault, larceny, driving while intoxicated, unlicensed driving, sex abuse, and drug possession. From there he joined New York County Defender Services (NYCDS) and continued for the next thirteen years litigating criminal cases involving violent felonies (such as arson, robbery, burglary, sex crimes and assault) and nonviolent felonies (such as forgery, larceny, and drug possession/sales). At NYCDS he worked collaboratively with experts, investigators, and social workers to present the best defense possible for his clients. He also cross-examined numerous experts, detectives, police officers and civilian witnesses while defending his clients on trial. He has twenty years litigation experience, successfully representing clients facing the most serious allegations down to minor infractions. He also handles civil cases involving complex litigation, contractual disputes, and business disputes. He is admitted to practice in New York, Florida and the U.S. District Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
